I live in Italy, long distance from a family member who is in their own home in Ontario, Canada and is terminally ill. Can you help me care for her?
If your family member wishes to remain in their home and requires additional care, the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) can assess their needs. As you live in Italy, we can initiate service for your loved one as required. Additionally, you may purchase services such as shopping, companionship, and cooking privately through our company or other service providers in your community.
What is the difference between your registered in Ontario, Canada versus non-registered staff in Russia?
The key difference between registered staff in Ontario, Canada and non-registered staff in Russia at A1A Care lies in their certification, accountability, and scope of practice. Registered staff in Ontario are certified by the College of Nurses of Ontario and are held accountable for meeting professional practice standards. They provide specialized nursing care and other clinical services. In contrast, non-registered staff in Russia, referred to as Personal Support Workers (PSWs), focus on non-clinical support services. These PSWs offer personal care, light housekeeping, shopping assistance, and companionship in homes and facilities. While both groups play crucial roles in caregiving, the Ontario-registered staff operate under stricter regulatory oversight and have more advanced clinical responsibilities compared to our Russian counterparts, who primarily assist with daily living activities and provide essential non-medical support.
